About PTSD
About PTSD
Trauma can change the way we experience ourselves and the world. Reactions to a traumatic event are natural, but they can sometimes persist and make daily life difficult. Tailored treatment can help process the experience, cope with its effects, and restore a sense of control and safety.
Do I have PTSD?
Do I have PTSD?
These days, many in Israel are experiencing the effects of trauma, which can manifest in various difficult and distressing ways. Such as feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and heavy or even difficulty functioning in daily life. Sometimes these difficulties may indicate Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sometimes another emotional challenge, and sometimes they are difficulties that can be overcome independently or with support from one's environment. Might the difficulties that I or a loved one are experiencing be signs of PTSD? This page contains a brief self-assessment questionnaire that helps identify possible signs of post-trauma.
